OTL Volleyball invites you to come visit us for open house and volleyball club tryouts in Phoenix for the upcoming season. OTL is proof of a growing and passionate volleyball community in Arizona.

 

Guided by our mission to teach, train and perform, we continue to develop the next generation of homegrown athletes through skills training, strength conditioning and character building.

 

Once again, we open our doors to new members for the 2019/2020 season.

 

What To Expect For Volleyball Club Tryouts?

 

Fees. We recognize the need to balance competitiveness and accessibility so that more young athletes can participate in the OTL experience. We take pride in offering the best price/value relationship among all Phoenix volleyball clubs and in providing the best value for every dollar spent on our program.

 

Inclusions. The fee covers practices until the month of May. It includes training sessions and conditioning programs for all teams.

 

How To Register For Club Tryouts

 

Check age eligibility. Enter your daughter’s date of birth to determine which category she can play in.  Visit our club tryouts page for all the links for forms mentioned in this article.

 

Register Or Renew AZ Region Membership For 2019/2020 season.

 

This can be done online and must be accomplished by all participants prior to any open house sessions or tryouts. Please make sure to bring your 2019/2020 membership card or show a screenshot of the ‘PAID’ confirmation page to verify registration to all OTL events.

Open Houses for 12-14-year-olds:
November 11th: 7-9pm
November 15th: 6-8pm

The following forms should be submitted at volleyball tryouts:

 

• Proof of USAV Jr. Membership (Membership card or receipt)
• Completed Concussion Acknowledgement Form
• Completed SafeSport Acknowledgement Form
• Completed USAV Medical Release Form
• Photocopy of player’s birth certificate (if first year playing in the AZ region)

 

Learn About Concussion Education.

 

It is imperative that all athletes and their parents are aware of the signs, symptoms and what to do in case of a concussion. Our coaches are also trained in this safety concern.

 

The AZ region requires that each parent and player read the respective CDC Fact Sheet on Concussions and sign an Acknowledgement Form indicating they understand the signs, symptoms and the necessary steps to perform if they think they have a concussion. The signed form must be submitted together with registration materials.

As required in Arizona, parents and players must read the SafeSport Document and submit a signed SafeSport Participant Form (Page 3 of the SafeSport Document) as part of the membership paperwork.

 

Sign Contract And Pay Initial Deposit.

 

Chosen OTL players will be asked to sign their contracts and pay an initial deposit—a commitment fee payable in cash, check or credit card. A parent must be present during the contract signing and turnover of payment.
